Dorset Taekwondo Club Christmas Party
and Annual Awards Ceremony 2005

This years Christmas Party and Annual Awards Ceremony was held at Bournemouth Hospital Sports and Social Club on Saturday 17th December. at 7.30pm. Lots of people were in Fancy dress.

This years awards went to :-

Jim Evans who won the award in 2004 has continued to progress, and again medalled in some major competition in 2005. Jim has been promoted to a new position of Club Captain for 2006. Jims new position means he will help motivate and encourage the team. He will lead by example, and will have several difficult task such as chasing players to attend squad training regularly, ensuring they have completed forms on time, etc etc..

Best KO went to Matt Pike. Matt recently left Bournemouth, where he helped coach the squad, to attend University in Bristol. He still returns home regularly and competes for the team.

Mustafa has been a solid member of Dorset Taekwondo for approximately 4 years. His whole family regularly train without fail. Mustafa, who competes in veterans has regularly medalled in both fighting and patterns competitions.
