Thank you to all those who attended the Christmas Party. A good night was had by all. Well done to Louise Pike for winning the Limbo competition and Jon Vaughan for winning the Musical chairs!

Well Done to this years award winner.

Student(s) of the Year

Derry Frost and Vicky Lowman. The committee decided they were worthy winners due to their regular commitment to training, results in competition, and continued improvement.

Most Improved Fighter of the Year

Chris Fortune. Since passing his black belt Chris has continued to improve, probably due to regular training at the weekly Sport Class. He has taken part in several competitions this year and won a few medals to prove his hard work.

Best Fighter of The Year

Jim Evans. This award can only go to Jim since he won the British Championships this year and medalled in Holland and Ireland. Jim has won this award 3 years running now!

Several other nominations were received including Marcin Tata, Sergio Dumbrava and Henry Haverlock.

Pink Fluffy belt award

This is a new award for 2006. The winner is Adam Moore. Adam has actually had a very successful year winning a Bronze in the Sweden in January 06 and Gold in Holland this summer. He also coached Jim to success in the British Championships

Adam wins this award for

• Turning 18 Adam has got a little lazy and put on weight!
  
• In Ireland he was the club comedian! Coming back to he Hotel late on several occasions.

We look forward to a return to form in 2007!
