Student of the Year 2003 Award

For the first time in the clubs history Master Naraine awarded a 'Student of the year Award' for Christchurch Taekwondo Club. The award went to David Lickman is for hard work, dedication and continual support. In 2003 David won medals in competition for sparring and Poomse. He is also the first 'Christchurch Taekwondo Club' student to achieve the rank of Black Belt.

As you can see from the photo David at 16 is taller than Master Naraine - I see some interesting fight between them in the future!!
