Professor Yeo visits Bournemouth Taekwondo Club

Professor Yeo. 8th Dan WTF Taekwondo, WTF International Referee, WTF Solidarity course Instructor.

This is the first time a WTF solidarity course instructor has come to the UK.

He is one of the younger new breed of Professor Grandmasters who give the modern slant to today’s taekwondo. He is the instructor of Lee Sun Hee (Female heavyweight Olympic Gold medallist is Sydney, current World Champion and Asian Champion also member of the Secom S1 Team.) Currently he is teaching in Puchon City at the Catholic University and is attached to Yong-in University. He also runs Young-in Dojang Puchon.

In his 4 hour seminar he taught us aspects of moderns port Taekwondo including fighting stances and speed exercises. Also his warm up exercise, which at first appeared very simple, has left many of the students aching for days after. At the request of Master Evans he also taught black belt Poomse from Koryo to Jitae. His skills and teaching methodology were second to none in this country!

Professor Yeo has also invited us to visit him at his dojang next summer as his university will be running a solidarity course.
