Hall of Fame Master Dong Jin BAE Master Dong Jin Bae (6th Dan) was one of the first Korean Master to stay in Bournemouth and train with us back in 1995 was an inspiration to both Master Naraine and Master Evans. Master Bae Graduated with a degree in Taekwondo from Chung Ang University. As with all the Taekwondo Degrees he trained in taekwondo for 3 years, 5 to 6 hours a day. As a result his skills are amazing. Master Bae is a modest man and never tells much about his past. However he must have been a top National player in order to get a scholarship to univerity to study Taekwondo. He was also part of the Taekwondo demonstration in the opening ceromeny in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Master Bae is obviously passing his skills onto his students at his dojang. Along with his recent email he sent an mpeg of one of his junior black belts who was testing. The mpeg shows him backflipping off an adults sholders and breaking wood at about 7 feet high! (If only I knew how to upload this to the web site!)
Master Bae said 'I hope all my england friends are well.
I miss them all.'
