Below is a report to Committee written by Matthew Pike. It summerises each individuals performance.

Joe Fenn – Did extremely well, looked organised and calm in his technique. The lessons have definitely been paying off; a good prospect for the future. Won his first fight convincingly and his second fight didn’t want to fight him felt that Joe was too superior. GOLD

‘Super’ Mario – did well as his opponent was Andy Taylor (very experienced National and International Player). Held his own just didn’t adapt to Andy’s technique fell for the same move over and over. Second fight Mario was superior however under estimated his opponent and was a little lucky to win. SILVER

Angus Mc Donald– Looked a bit worried which was expected as was his first competition. Looked good but needed better understanding of the circumstances. Won one then lost to Alex Godsell. SILVER

Ollie Weeks – Another Gold medal has won a few now is a good fighter and a good prospect needs to learn better techniques (and stop jumping) He won easily. GOLD

Jim Evans – Was far superior his opponent was good however did not stand a chance Jim looked cocky but during the fight had good reason there was never a doubt who was going to win that fight. GOLD

Matt Domoracki – Again was good showed great technique and won convincingly was a shame he hurt his foot had as he had a good chance of gold. SILVER

Steve Winnington – Was a good fight Steve had control however time was against him in the third round he had lost his stamina and the opponent came back wasn’t as close as score suggest as opponents technique was bad and shouldn’t have scored. (Biased Scoring??) Steve Did well and showed good technique just needed more stamina. GOLD

Chris Samuals– Did alright his opponent and him were an even match. He lacked stamina and confidence. Technique Good. A good prospect if he wants to be! Has speed and long legs. SILVER

Alex Godsell – I think that he could be good, shows a lot f potential. He is young and listens to what he is told. Fought Angus and won was unlucky in his other fight. SILVER

Jackie – Needs to Kick more and step up the work rate..

Mustafa – Good; showed stamina and won convincingly. Shame that he is heavyweight as the veteran category often has a few handy heavyweights! GOLD

Me (Matthew)– It was a bit of a slug fest. I was doing fine butlacked stamina in the third round. I was suffering a chesty cold (which I caught off Mario) and a I had torn hamstring. I did well, and was pleased to beat a good player. GOLD
